Hi!! I am KellyJoArnold.. gosh, i just had a thought to look at this threead, cant believe i posted this 4 years ago! and the replies are from 2015.. I have tried to email Sarah Howell, but i havent had a reply. If anybody knows a way of contacting her that would be wonderful? I would love to...
Thankyou, yes - it was abit of a nightmare worrying, but luckily she foaled unexpectedly in the field, and i checked on her at 6am abd there he was, dry, stood up and feeding! She is a brilliant mum, especially as she is/was so young!
Posting an update,
If you read my previous thread about Eddie being de-balled!
I was worried it wasnt going to happen because he hadnt 'dropped' yet, but after some sedative they soon appeared!!
It all went well, and he is now fully recovered! The vet said he and Peanut are both looking...
Why are there suddenly so many threads slagging off peoples adverts? How would you feel if someone wrote something like this about one of your adverts? It does nothing to help the seller.
Sarah, you may be trying to 'teach a pig to sing' in your eyes, but as a logical horsemanship teacher, you of all people should understand people have many ways of training/haltering horses, just because you believe in one way (monty roberts) does not mean other peoples methods (firm, yet fair)...

The phone call has been made, Eddie is booked in to have his knackers off thursday!
Anybody else have much experience gelding colt foals who's balls haven't dropped yet? He's 6months old, do they appear after sedation?
Good luck! And keep us updated, would be really interesting to see! Whether you buy or breed, if you buy would you train? I've heard of them being broken to ride, apparently its difficult though as they have that 'wild instinct!'
There are a lot about in the UK now, i don't know whether you need a DWAL for a zorse though, as its a zebra hybrid, worth checking! I know there was a breeder here in dorset who bred zebras and their hybrids, but i cant for the life of me remember the name! Might be worth googling?
