Hi
can anyone recommend reputable importers/dealers? I do love an Irish youngster And I would even go to Ireland if I knew where to go and to a bigger operation where I would have a decent choice of backed 4-6 year olds...
Thanks!

I have a very sweet 3YO Irish Draught who I cannot get to move forward and away from me. She simply stops and turns into me and she is very adept at getting me in front of her. Even my instructor who has a world of experience is not able to get her away...
Any ideas?
Thanks so much
I'm not going to say what I think you should do. When I bought my horse I got a call two days later to say she's a nightmare, and I totally panicked. She was also showing some signs of being quite a handful so I went into a tizzy. I also had an offer to send her back which I have to say...
I see there's a place to enter a discount code in the online tickets section but I don't know what the codes might be? I do know I'd rather have a few pounds back in my pocket for shopping, so if anyone comes across them please would they mind sharing?? I know you'd have loads of new friends! J x
I always said I would never have another mare... I couldn't understand why people would put up with the ears back, unpredictability, independence, stroppiness etc. etc. and my first mare scared me witless. Until I just bought a little 15.3 from some people I really trusted and now I find myself...
Oh wow, you need to put a video on you Tube for us all to see!
I've just ordered a pair of thinning scissors so I'll have a bash with them but I think it's probably going to get worse before it gets better!
Thanks everybody! It's always nice to know that you're not the only one - and that your horse isn't so unusual. I was told she is really wicked (again after I bought her) and she's naughty for sure, but I don't think she is wicked, she seems really sweet along with all the naughtiness... I'll...
I think you might be right - why didn't I think of that? Funny how we just get into the groove of doing what everyone else does. I actually live really close by so if she gets very warm after work I can easily put a cooler rug on and then pop back to take it off later...
I was told when I bought my horse (well a couple of days after actually!) that she wouldn't let anyone pull her mane and that she wouldn't even clip under sedation.
I wasn't too fussed because I am happy to use a rake or solo comb but although she'll let me brush her mane she goes nuts if I...
Well he's not actually mine so not much say in that but he is getting fitted with a new dressage saddle which I'm sure will help. Feels like cheating though! Also my (third pair of) Mountain Horse boots split the zip and my leg position is def worse without them. Who'd have thought it would...
Thanks yes I ride much better without stirrups (bizarrely) but can't do too much trot because my youngster has a really long weak back at the moment . Thanks for taking the time to reply to me
My riding's a bit rusty after riding on and off for the last year as horse was lame. I'm lucky enough to be riding a couple of horses at the stables but I'm really struggling to get my legs down and my heels down. Both the horses are youngsters and quite wobbly, every time I come to use my legs...
