Thank you for responses. I apologise I thought the hunt had a marksman (oops). Some awful circumstances mean some horses have been stolen under very sinister circumstances and I'm just working out whether the hunt ask for any proof that the horse standing before them is who the owner says it...

Apologies this is a duplicate thread couldn't delete the last one and hoping there's a bigger audience here. When having a horse shot do they ask for proof of ownership/passport? I would really appreciate any experiences.

Apologies as it's not strictly hunting. Do the hunt check ownership/passport before shooting horses? Have had some ponies taken in what seems to be quite malicious circumstances and I'm worrying.

My main man's legs fill when stabled, I wouldn't stress too much as long as you can turnout. Boots/wraps/stable chaps can improve circulation.

It depends nativelover. In my case the tree was incredibly hard to kill and sycamores are great at self seeding. Even if you do cut it down it will just go again.

Ignorance is bliss indeed! My hubby is a mechanic and specialises in horseboxes, the sheer quantity of boxes/trailers he gets in that have been tarted up but lethal and the owners are oblivious.
