What do you all think the "best" bitless bridle is?

I've got one of the nose pieces you attach to the bridle. Think they are fantastic as a cheaper way of getting a side pull bitless bridle.

    Snowy day... Lovely sunshine!

It was too beautiful here not to have a canter around the fields! Always wanted to canter through lovely fresh snow, and finally got to do it on my 5 yr old Archie.

    Equiami - worth the money?

Lol bitless bill that's one reason for the pessoa. But what about my lungie bungie....the only difference I see is that the lungie bungie doesn't go round the bum. I fasten my lungie b to the girth between front legs & it looks like it works in same way but if anyone can help me out more with...

Is it too cheeky to ring farrier now ? (7pm)

My farrier takes calls on Sunday between 7pm & 8pm as you have to get your time for the next day. I would ring esp as he's not replied to you. He can always say he prefers not to receive calls on a sun.

would you move or keep trying?

If its just a case of getting through this one field to ride I would personally just lead horse through & mount after the problem area. Over time both yours & horse confidence should rise. Can you restrict grazing at all? You could look at other livery yards but I expect it will be hard to...

What are you going to do differently this winter?

I'm going to winter out 4 of my horses/ponies. They are my unridden hardy ones in an 18 acre field. Give them feed & hay but cut out my mucking out & them going out in my muddy winter field adjacent to the stables. I've never done it before & I know they will be fine, it's just me getting my...

    FSS German comfort double bridle

Thanks stroppy mare. They seem have have feedback over 16000 items now so hopefully it's just because it's a weekend. I've messaged twice, fingers crossed they reply by Monday. They look beautiful bridles. He's normally in a cob bridle but I bought another padded cob bridle & it didn't fit at all.

    Flies when riding?

I cant praise power phaser by leovet enough! it really does work, (google reviews) stinks, but my horse was the only horse today out on a ride that was fly free, although i do think i need to spray some on myself next time, got bitten by a few horse flies myself! I've just bought the 2.5l...

Is hay situation really this bad?

We are farmers and it is pretty dire at the moment, crops should have been cut june/early july, its now laying twisted and down on the fields (going to take a super mower to get through it now!) Around here farmers are now cutting and baling wet newly cut silage, we are holding on until the...
