Whoops I meant "Persistent" Corpus Luteum not "Permanent"!!

Hi, my 7 year old Holsteiner mare has been diagnosed with "Persistent Corpus Luteum" and started on Regumate for one cycle of 12 days. Has anyone had any experience of this? She is an absolute dream to handle from the ground all year but incredibly spooky/nappy and generally difficult to ride...
