Thank you. It is the adjustability that I need and they really are the only brand I can find that have the amount of adjustment. The only other types I can see adjust at the top, like to MDC ones.
I was hoping someone on here had experience with them but I guess they are just too expensive !
Thank you. I can't really afford them but they look great ! I have previous major lower limb injuries with lots of metal work in one lower leg and it causes all sorts of issues with my foot balance in the stirrup and my lower leg position and stability, just wanted to hear some proper reviews...
Thank you everyone for the replies. I am realistically not going to be capable myself of anything more than lungeing (which I'm not a big fan of to be honest and probably wouldn't want to do that more than once or twice weekly for more than 10/15 minutes) or walking (slowly!!) in hand, for...
I wanted to get opinions on giving older (18/19) year old horses time off. I know it is always good for young horses to have a break over winter to be allowed to mature but is it detrimental for an older horse to stop working at all for a couple of months or are they best kept ticking...
Thank you all for your replies. Will see how we go. He is happy being wherever his hay is really, has shelter and as we are on sand it is always dry underfoot and while I am trying to convince myself of the benefits of him being out 24/7 I know I won't be able to do it when it is really wet and...
I have recently moved to a yard where there is a field shelter, which is something I've never had available before. My horse has always come in at night over the winter and been turned out all day then lived out 24/7 over the summer months. He is rugged, well fed and seems happy with either...
Thank you. I have never seen/paid it before so it must have been that previous clubs have paid the extra. It is a shame as it does not encourage me to ride for the club/on teams etc. with a 50% increase in entry fee.
I have competed with BRC for many years now and only recently have seen that at qualifiers and competitions that are open to non riding club members there is about a 50% extra on top of the usual entry fee that is a fee to BRC - so if you compete as a non riding club member at the exact same...
Thank you all for your replies. Glad to hear I am not being over sensitive. My main reason for joining teams is to get to know new people and feel involved or part of something :(
Thank you all for your replies. I know I am probably being a bit over sensitive about it but it turned out to be a horrible day and I was mostly upset that people would have thought I just hadn't turned up.
