i don't think they're being heartless,!! some people can't deal with being there at the end, i made my OH take our dog to the vet when the time came , not because i was heartless but because i knew that my crying and stressing would upset her i stayed with my horse because she was already down...

is 6 too late to break?

not too late , i'm doing one who is 7 lol but it does have it's own set of problems, it's had longer to become set in it's ways and therefore the whole process is taking longer, also a lot depends on what handling it has had in those first 6 years, i'm not going to go into detail on a public...

    On my hack today..

i'm glad I'm not the only one who actually gets a buzz out of seeing a childs or even adults face light up when you let them pat your horse or pony, i also love waving at little kids in cars who are grinning and waving and breaking their necks trying to watch as they drive by.

    RSPCA - RANT!

all the rescue centres are run like franchises and you're right Smash i don't think very many people realise it, they mistakenly think that their £2 a week or whatever the RSPCA is currently fleecing off innocent soft hearted souls, actually goes to help those centres when in reality it pays for...
