Oh sorry!!! No wonder I was so lost for words when I read it! Having said that, the fact that they continually sab bloodhounds confirms their ignorance to hunting. Really, the sabs themselves and their behaviour are the best possible advert to promote hunting.
These thugs just use their anti-hunting views to excuse their yobbo behaviour. In short, they don't give a hoot if we are hunting an animal or not, they just cannot stand anything that could be remotely construed (in their tiny little minds) as elitist.
I have copied the below statements...
It's the sabs who specialize in talking drivel.
Same old story - poor innocent foxes, poor badgers, poor fluffy bunnies, poor animal loving sabs trying to save the countryside who all have to lug around those huge chips on their shoulders!
We have moved all of our policies (house, farm, vehicles, tractors etc) away from the NFU. We have found them terrible to deal with and they rank the premiums up every year despite not having claimed and being loyal customers. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Personally, I would forget...
Have not read all of the above posts so may be repeating things but this one made me giggle on Equine Rant Room earlier today.... "Feeding stud cubes to a gelding will turn it into a stallion again". Oh dear, oh dear!
Another was a photo of a gelding having a wee and the poster had said that...
Is there anybody in your local hunt who would be interested in him? I know when I was looking for my hunter I often checked in the classified section of hunt websites, that may be a good place to advertise him... perhaps offer him for sale with a trial period so that someone can have a few days...
So pleased to hear things are going well with Ned, he looks like such a lovely boy. Your confidence is clearly growing and quite right too as he is being so good, keep up the good work both of you.
My husband is not too bad really, he had ponies as a child and has ridden as an adult. He's had a very short ride on my mare (limited to trotting much to his disgust) but he's a bit too "handy" for my liking. He has bags of confidence and generally has a bit of a gung ho attitude, he'd be off...
We had a bit of a situation whilst walking our two dogs a few weeks back one Sunday afternoon with an ignorant dog walker. Our dogs run and play off the lead but I always call them back to put their leads back on for their own sake when I see another dog coming. In my opinion it is just good...
Oh dear! Maybe the hunting will get you revved up again. I always find that the cold, wet, muddy reality of riding and keeping your horse fit is difficult but always pays off on hunting days. Your fit, clipped, pristine horse with a gleaming coat, plaited up and looking smart having a jolly...
My sisters and I were unaware that arenas even existed when we learnt to ride! We would either ride in a field or hack out and I do exactly the same now. The small enclosed space of an arena may make a nervous rider to feel safe but you can't beat hacking for teaching you to have a good seat.
Riding about 6 days a week but I try and time the day off for when the weather is really grotty. This morning was surprisingly pleasant, blustery but not as bad as the forecast gave.
I think it depends on the individual horse, its surroundings and shelter available to it, quality of feed etc etc. I know that my Irish mare lived out 24/7 without a rug ever touching her back up until she was broken in so is a hardy sort. She is now clipped so rugged accordingly but has only...
Thank you that's really kind and I certainly do enjoy her, she's a little poppet! From day one she's never been faffed with or mollycoddled and I'm sure that is the reason that she is so easygoing and happy so I'm determined to keep her that way. She's even happier now we have just started...
