Poor you, Hope shes ok. Only experience iv had was about 5 years ago. Our youngster kept mounting the mares which resulted in a very nasty kick to his stifle. Vet came and cut open wound to flush infection as the area had swelled like a football. Vet said was unlikely he would survive...

Personally if it was just in one eye it wouldnt bother me. My connie has been blind in one eye for years and still jumps 1m 30 and takes me round XC safely. Id probably ask the vet to have a look though just to check it wont spread to other eye
