    Help me start eventing!

    I started my 5yr old eventing last season. We did a couple on trainings (80's) at Chilham castle (one unaffiliated and 1 BE), then moved on two 2 90's by the end of the season (BCA and Pulborough). My aim was 1 event a month, I didn't want to do too much, he'd have been fine doing more though...

    How often do you clean your stable rugs and is it fair to expect

    I wash my stable rugs at the end of winter before putting away ready for next year. As for requesting to keep rugs cleaner, yes I do think you can ask for the rugs to be laundered! Sounds like theses rugs need some TLC.

    Doing silly things with your horse can be a good thing

    Brilliant! Great to see other people having fun too. I'm forever jumping single barrels and have fun whizzing around cones in the school. It's helped hugely with bomb proofing, keeping schooling sessions interesting and XC skinny fences!! :D x
