Kal-i think I met you at Hartpury a couple of months ago-we were chatting in the seats by the arena...

Hi the 2nd rounds will start in September. The dates will be posted in the summer I would have thought. Sure that's what happened last year. The Bsja write to you to confirm your qualification anyway.

Or you could get a lead rope with a chain on - aerborn do them with a handle on the lead rope so you can hold on without loosing the rope - thread the chain through the side of the headcollar ring, over the noseband and clip to the other side of the headcollar side ring. Got this tip from a...

    "Amateur" Championships

I am an amateur - I work full time and only have 2 horses. I travelled each day to the championships so as not to have too much time off work (bit tiring as we're 1hr 45 mins away). I qualified for the 1.20m final - was over the moon - definately challenging courses but I didn't feel like...

    Manege surface and installer recommends...

I have Mansfield sand with fibre - the F100 stuff, plus Springride rubber. It's great - wouldn't recommend the sand on its own as its quite firm, but with the rubber on its a fabulous base layer as it allows the surface to remain stable, the rubber stays on top and gives good cushioning - better...

    Bitting help please?

Totally agree with Franki - also with the Myler , I don't get the leaning that I used to with the kk ultra, so it makes life so much easier for both me and the horse. He's a sj'er, so doesn't really matter to me that the mb05 isn't dressage legal.

    Bitting help please?

Have you tried a myler comfort snaffle? I've spent a year trying loads of different bits on my youngster who simply refused to accept a bit - until i tried the myler he went best in a loose ring kk ultra french link - but it gave him a sore mouth at the corners and he wouldn't bend at the poll...

British Novice Regional at Area 42

Does anyone know if the British Novice regional final on 29th June at Area 42 will be on a surface or on grass - it seems to be at Lackham College, according to the BSJA website, but I've never been there so any clues would be appreciated
