Apologies for being really thick here but does "barefoot" simply mean not wearing shoes? Mine have been without shoes for a while now (new baby etc) and are all absolutely fine - they all have naturally really good, hard feet anyway, but I'm not bothering with shoes again until they need them...

We feed our German Shepherds on raw chicken wings and carcases - they absolutely love it!! They have never looked better and its much cheaper than "normal" dog food!! Oh and their poo goes quite firm - much better for poo picking!!!!
