We've been in touch with the auctioneer and they cant give us the buyers details but they have taken my details to pass on, so far I've not heard any thing back.

Would like to find Farrier, 16.1hh-16.2hh chestnut gelding, Irish sport horse. Freeze mark 7E 3V on left shoulder. Went through Melton Mowbray horse sales on march the 5th.

I'd recommend farrier damian Williams as well, lovely guy, great with the horses and as another poster said he's always on time and often early! he's worked wonders with my retired thoroughbreds feet :) I use chine house vets and have never had a problem with them.

sounds awful, hope your horse recovers well. where abouts did this happen?

hi i've been to a few of his demo's and like him, he's a really nice guy and so good with the horses. have a google theres loads about him. he works in spain and france alot aswell and when he's over here he does fund raising demo's for some of the horse sanctuarys and rescues :)

hi i've just googled his name and found a profile for a celtic bud on the space for horses site. says he bucks and is a handfull lol! says his sire is rackwood prince and dame is kilcobben sian and that he lives in essex, looks like he's the right breed and hight ect, pic not great so not sure...

like others have said i'd def try a diff scanner. old chips can be really hard to find! i'd also get the vet to ring chip company and see what details are on the chip, you should be able to tell if its not your horse. hopefully its your boy and the chip is just playing hard to get lol :)

just a word of warning over your dogs, i know of a farmer who has just had his 3 rotties poisoned so the gypsies could get in and help themselves! luckily he found the dogs in time and fingers crossed they are recovering at the vets. so not only has he been robbed he now also has a v large vet...

thanx for the advise every one and the words of warning cptrayes. he will only wear his combo in the coldest part of winter so hopefully as long as the rug fits well he should be fine :)

i was told that combos rubbed less than the other full neck type of rug:confused: i got him a fal pro standard that fits nicely till moves then it slips back and pulls tight across his chest! lovely rug aswell. really hoping the weatherbeeta fits well, only one way to find out i guess:)

Thank you tasteofchaos and tictac i've been looking at the weatherbeetas, like the look of the orican original. i will now be going rug shopping at the wkend without worrying, i can see myself spending a small fortune cause he's def gona need more than one :D;)
