Yes... I am in agreement. I read far too much info on how wonderful products are then and go into overload on info! Will continue with the current regime and monitor. Am definitely looking forward to a winter without mucking out, seeing her adapt through the changes and keeping it as natural as...
Thanks very much for the in-depth explanation. I do feel a bit more reassured now and will look at the Equimmins advance complete too. It's her first winter out completely in a new field, so am just trying to do my homework and monitor her over the next few weeks.
.
Sorry - I wasn't clear before. I was going to replace the high fibre pony nuts with the conditioning cubes and potentially remove the Pink Powder as the Baileys contains the minerals. She has never been without a little hard feed, so I want to keep her topped up during her first winter out...
I have a 13.2hh chunky cob mare who is now living out 24/7 for the first time this winter. She has been out since April. She is eating hay, chaff and hi-fibre pony nuts with Pink Powder at the moment, but am looking for conditioning cubes to keep her going through the winter now. She is a...
Many thanks for the advice. After taking everyone's advice, the Thorowgood seems to be the one for my cob, but will look at Sheepham Saddles too though! Thank you!!!
Yes, 31cm inside leg. The saddler seems fixated on Thorowgoods. Although she said that they do a good cob fitting. Trouble is, the more money you spend on more saddlers coming out, the less budget for the saddle! So difficult! She didn't like Wintec apparently as they slip about. Will keep...
Thanks for the advice. Think that I will go with it. I wish that I had tried others too when the saddler came out to compare comfort for both of us! Reassuring that the 17" inch works for you.
South Bucks. Found the saddler on the Master Saddler website, so presumed really good. Wish that I was given more choice of brand really. Was only recommended Kent and Masters or Thorowgood for my cob pony.
I definitely can't do anything when someone watches...can't understand it and so frustrating. It's amazing what you can do when you're on your own...and that's the time when you want someone notice your achievements!
Oh no! Ha Ha! This sounds like me! This has definitely put me off from buying! Am just considering it too! My boyfriend laughs at me when I ride the sit-on lawn mower with the trailer attachment. I have to unhook it, THEN have to pull it out of the workshop, then fix back on the lawn-mower...
Thanks for the advice. Yes, the saddler deals with new and occasionally secondhand and only Kent and Masters or Thorowgood, and not advising Wintec. Asked me to source them and she will come back and adjust. Didn't give me any other choices unfortunately. Might have to call her again and ask...
