    Saddles for high withered horses

    I purchased a high wither Thorowgood, for by TB. It's very poor quality and still needs a saddle raiser underneath. I'd consider getting a professional saddle fitter to visit and invest in a decent saddle. That's what I'll be doing next time.

    Are KBIS any good for insurance?

    I was insured with them last year and had to make a fairly large claim. They were fantastic, dealt directly with the vet and paid the bills promptly. I'm with E&I this year as KBIS became very expensive because of my previous claim.

    I never really realised poo picking was such hard work!

    My horse is at livery with 12 other horses and no-one poo picks. I've started doing my share but it appears that no-one has done any for months so you can imagine how much there is. It's a nightmare a never ending task, once you think you are getting on top of it there is another tonne of it!
