Those of you who travel with wheelie bins, grooming kits, water containers etc. in your trailers, how do you fix them down? My mare travels without a partition, so i need to put stuff in the nose of the trailer.
Thanks in advance
Thanks all for your replies.
For me its nerves & lack of confidence, we start getting out and about and things have improved massively over time, but then I end up getting ditched! which then knocks my confidence so i start again to build it slowly back up.
What also bothers me is the time...
Anyone on here enjoy training but not so much competing? I really enjoy jumping but the thought of competing somewhere new fills me with dread as I know my mare can be sharp spooky and throw in some pretty dirty stops which is what puts me off. Am I wrong to hang up my competition boots and...
I was given the news yesterday that my girl has ROA. I have been advised to steam her hay, and keep her out as much as possible, vet doesn't want to give steroids at this moment in time.
My head is still spinning, and i am desperately trying to get my head around it, im trying to be...
This was going to be my first port of call at the weekend, theres a cattle trailer parked next to mine, i might just reverse up to that and try the electrics on that, see what happens, however, cleaning both sockets isn't a bad idea either.
I have an intermittent fault when towing and i don't know where to go, or how to tackle it.
When I am hitched up and towing my trailer, when I indicate there is a beeping sound that notifes me that im hitched up and the indicators on the trailer are also working, however, recently I don't...
I have just bought my first ever jump saddle, due to be delivered soon, and need a girth that will allow me to use a martingale, Im looking at something like the Stubben coolmax girth with a D ring, but I have no clue how i attach my martingale to it, or if they are even secure? I dont have...
Do they need to be overtrousers? because if you can still get them Decathlon waterproof jods are fabulous, they are slightly warmer that your average jods, but if its peeing down then its a bonus, and they are grippy too, oh and they wash ok on a 30.
Thanks for letting me know, yes maybe Covid has meant they have suffered with closures also. I will most definitely be getting in touch with them, its a beautiful bridle, so I can save some money, and just replace the noseband, I just need to work out whether I have Stainless Steel Buckles or...
My current Bridle is a Sabre, but i wans't sure if they were still trading, as my SIL tried to contact them last year for spares and didn't get a response. Its mainly the noseband that has faded across the front now and is going brown, so maybe I would be better off getting a replacement noseband?
My girls bridle is starting to look a bit tired, so I am looking to treat her to a new one, without breaking the bank, so maximum spend of £150, will probably have to do mix and match as will need full in some parts and cob in others.
What do you all have, don't need a flash, prefer a crank...
