hiii, i've just been given a '3 ring gag bit' (not used) because my pony is strong when doing Xcountry. Now i've never really had one before, so i know it sounds silly but like what 'ring' do the reins attach too, and how tight should i put it??

My pony is 4 and i noticed today he is very slightley butthigh. I havn't really noticed it before and it's not by much. Do you think he's having a growth spurt and will sort of grow into it or do you think he'll stay like it? He is a nf by the way. Thanks.

I was almost convinced it was because she was in pain. But the vet said otherwise. I just don't know what it could be really. As i said before it seems to happen in like a place she could gallop.... if we let her. And she just starts to jog and throw her head. Then she'll start to back up. But...

Yeh, i thought that at first. But we got the vet out to give her a check over and they didnt find anything wrong :confused: but she just seems to do it if we start hacking somewhere she can gallop. My guess is she just want to gallop. What seems to happen is she gets worked up by something and...

I ride a hunting horse, called Mertle. She's a 16.2hh thoroughbred and she's gorgeous. But when were out riding she suddenly has what we call a 'Mertle Meltdown'. Where suddenly, she'll be going along perfectly, she starts up. She rears and back up and backs up and backs up, throwing her head...
