Hiya!
Currently looking for opinions and experiences with hoof boots, compared to shoeing a horse, as its pretty costly and would save a bunch but in the end its down to whats best for the horse!
Im a young horse owner so Im not the most knowledgable person, so despite looking through...
Need some tips to help me keep my leg down and long, or some exercises!
When I ride ponies I don't seem to have that much of problem with my legs than when I ride bigger horses, though it's still visible. I feel like when I have my stirrups I solely rely on them, and I do try to stretch my...
Thank you very much for the advic, you translated it perfectly! I understood everything, and thank you for the recommendation of the the book, will definetely check it out!
Thank you! I think mental image is key. I usually count the beat when I'm in trot when I'm working on rhythm, for some reason it seems to flow much nicer and the horse just becomes 'floaty' when we've found that perfect rhythm.

I had to drop my reigns completely and only hold the buckle but my hands still had to be in the same position and had...

I've been riding for a year and a few months, my rising trot is really good, have come really far with sitting trot and finally able to "feel" the movements of the trot with my seat.
But it's always the canter transition that I struggle with.
Summary of the issue: every time I ride a larger...
