    Brook Farm, Stapleford Abbotts

Hi there You can go along the A414 and then out through Ongar if you want to avoid the M25 - dead easy from the Harlow M11 junction if you can get there easily? Not sure about what is inside or outside but they are very helpful so I am pretty sure if you text and ask, they will let you...

    Correct Canter Lead -help needed

Hi there Try looking over your outside shoulder as you ask for strike off. It will help keep you in the right place. Very often when you struggle for a correct strike off, you will subconsciously be 'tipping' as you anticipate the strike off which just exacerbates the problem. Good luck -...

    Lucinda Green XC Clinics

I've also had mixed experiences - I thoroughly enjoyed two of her two day clinics on an older, more established horse and then took along a green five year old, thinking that it would be a great education for him and bitterly regretted it and came away feeling we were both hopeless - it really...

    Young horse very slow downhill

Ooh, that's interesting Copperpot, mine would also much rather trot or canter downhill, particularly interesting given the similar diagnosis ours have had.

    Young horse very slow downhill

Again, probably not what you want to hear but my youngster always walked downhill badly, choppy stride, slightly crablike action etc and was diagnosed with arthritic hocks at the age of six. He's had his hocks medicated several times now (he's eight now) & is in full work but the biggest...

    Eventers - another question!

Another vote for CT, there is woefully little like that round our way (Herts / Essex). It would be invaluable through the winter but I could also see a real use for it year round as it would be educational for youngsters before heading out for BE mid-way through the season for example.

    Livery yards in Epping/Harlow/Sawbridgeworth/Hoddeson area

These all have pretty good reputations and fall in that sort of area: http://www.threshersequestrian.co.uk/ http://www.moorplaceequestrian.co.uk/ http://hixhamhallstables.co.uk/ http://www.ehec.co.uk/ http://www.hastingwooddressagegroup.co.uk/ I think there's also a livery yard in...

Best lameness vets in south east

Another vote for House & Jackson and while Eric is fab, I would really recommend Luisa Smith from the practice - brilliantly intuitive & a genius at spotting even the most minute lameness, can't recommend her highly enough

New trailer, first one!!.. insurance/security advice pls

In addition to hitch lock and wheel lock, you might want to think about getting some graphics put onto the trailer - they're not that expensive and make it much less attractive to thieves as it's more difficult for them to get rid of it. Even if they remove the graphics, the paint underneath...

kk ultra - aurigan rings or stainless steel rings

Help! Does anyone know if it makes much difference whether you have the aurigan rings or the stainless steel rings? I've been lent an kk ultra which i've been really pleased with so am looking to buy one. The one i've been lent has aurigan rings but most of them for sale seem to have stainless...
