I was looking at some photos I took at Burnham Market in 2002 .
One is of Bettina Hoy riding a dark bay/brown horse , but I arrived late & the programmes had sold out .
I can't show the pic as I haven't got around to converting it into a jpeg !

Absolutely disgusting behaviour . The rider needs to get another career , that doesn't involve animals .
I used to enjoy watching showjumping , but have seen some idiotic riding that saddens me ( though thankfully it is still quite rare .)

Agree with you there . I can't fence judge anymore, for the the foreseeable future , as my Husband has changed his job & the hours don't suit ( I don't drive . )

Anyone remember William F-P & Jeanette Brakewell on the show ? ( Around the time of the foot & mouth outbreak ) Jeanette won , but she was so nervous , poor thing !
Great stuff - I remember reading about Louise's accident some years ago in Eventing magazine . I get a bit cross when I read about people being critical of her riding style , but I suppose they don't realise how bad her accident was .
A few years ago , she had a lovely coloured horse called...
