I ordered some gloves from them a couple of weeks ago. They emailed a few days later to say no stock & offered an alternative which wasn't what I wanted. I replied to their email & didn't hear anything more so had to phone & it took a few attempts to get thru. Cancelled my order as didn't have...

This company has 12v halogen floodlights. Not cheap but cheaper than the one you've found :)
I've used both from Liverpool & there's definitely a difference in quality. The value ones were more powdery & a lot less absorbant. I now buy Verdo as the bags are branded so I know what I'm getting is what I've paid for & I use less.
I got back on my sane horse the day after my 6 week check. As sychnant said, my core strength had definitely been reduced by pregnancy/ c-section. I'd personally want to do 2 or 3 of weeks of riding something sensible before thinking about backing a horse. Good luck!
She looks great. I'd carrying on riding her doing basic stuff. Jan-June is a long enough holiday. Quartz was about 14.2 when I got him as a 3yo. He's just turned 6 & is 15hh. His mum was only 16.1 tho. Looking forward to seeing some solo pics :)
She's lovely (tho I'm biased as mine is from same stud). I'm glad she's proving easy too. I took my 19 month old daughter to see Quartz whilst he was lying down today & he lay there like a dog enjoying the fuss & attention! :)
Have you got a farrier or vet cut back the hoof around the puncture wound? I'd be worried that there's still something in there. My horse had a 2cm thorn in the point of his frog earlier this year. We (vet & I) didn't find the thorn for 2 weeks & by then he was nearly sound & there was no pus...
Jupiter is lovely too. All so similar. Quartz is by Artful Archer (son of Arrow Javelin) and looks just like his dad. Mum is 3/4 TB 1/4 ID. He's only made about 15hh even tho he was bum high at 3.
Lovely to see some other Whitley Village horses :)
I've got Whitley Village Quartz & she looks just like him. He's rising 6 & a complete softy. He's not done all that much yet (due to my pregnancy) but was a doddle to back & bring on. I hope you have lots of fun with her :)
A friend has recently bought a nice pony from KK Equines in Peterborough. They put adverts for their ponies on Facebook & also have a website. Might be worth a look?
How much are you paying for this years hay?
Last year prices got up to £5 a bale in my area (Bucks/Northants). I've driven past one farm recently selling it for £5.50 a bale but today a local farmer said he thought it would go down to £3?!
So what is everyone paying?
Thanks
