Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know of a good Chriropractor or physio in hampshire or will travel to hampshire??
My poor boy slipped on ice yesterday and came crashing down, no injuries, but could do with a look at from the back person.
Many thanks
Unfortuntely, I dont have a school , but I can ride in a flat field. It has been soft early this week due to rain, but is now getting hard.
Do you ride in fields through summer when it is rock hard?
Is it ok to walk and trot on 20 metre circles on this ground? I am relucatant to canter now...
My horse has been stiff on right rein for a while, he has his back done regularly, saddle is fine and teeth done often.
I know it is a balance thing and he has only been properly schooled for past year.
He used to buck going into canter on right rein, now he does't. I have to point out that...
Just a tought. Do you think horses mind moving yards or is it just keeping their routine that is important?
Is there any limit to how many times horses move for them to become unsettled?
Just wondered what they think, or if it is like us moving house.
What would you prefer - A yar that is...
I don't have a school sadly, and ponder moving, but I love my yard and the girls up there very much.
I school in the field in summer. There is an indoor school about 15 mins in the lorry to hire and a friends outdoor school. The yard across the road is re-vamping their school which we can use...
I am no lorry expert at all. But have to say, my Ford Cargo 0811 is super! She is an old girl on an old x plate, but zipped through her plating last year. It is a super lorry and I love it to bits. Toucing wood, she starts first time every time even over the winter months.
As a rule, I normally ride my boy in snaffle and no martingale e.t.c.
If I lunge I lunge with a bungee.
However, as my boy can be very strong out hacking in company on sponsored rides or jumping I ride in either the gag on 2nd loop or my fulmer for more steering, grackle and martingale...
I don;t know that answer to your question spcifically, but can only speak from my experience.
My boy is barefoot and is trimmed every 3 months by the farrier, well actually he doesnt take muh off only balances. I do road work about 4-5 times a week and school on sand e.t..c and it keeps his...
Absolutely! I feel terrified and sick before the event. I go in, love every minute of it and then relax with a hot dog and a cuppa after it.
I have been competing for years now and still an't get over the nerves. I think it is healthy in a way, you don't get too complacent that way. PLus I...
I love Marmite! Oh sorry, Arabs!
I have always adored them, pure parts and anglos. I have had 2 arab stallions and 2 part bred mares and I now have a lovely part bred Arab gelding. He is x connemara. He has the dish arab face and long mane and tail accompanied with the floaty arab pace. He...

I don't have a school However we do have a disused camp site which has a tarmac road in a circle shape about 400 meters long by 200 wide, so I can school on that without traffic worries. Can't canter though.
I can hire a local indoor school when I like and go to my friends school, all are a...
Just wondering, my horsey is very lively at the mo. My normal non spooky horsey who pays attention to his mummy has now turned into a little monkey!
Anyone elses horses feeling good in the sunshine?
