We have flexiride on top of sand. The company were very helpful and gave us details of an arena we could go and view. Sorry I don't know about flexiride on it's own but we are very pleased with our arena.
I bought a Barrie Swain saddle on eBay for £250. It is an amazing saddle with a memory foam seat, it fits my cob perfectly and she moves really well in it. My instructor commented on the change it has made. I would definitely buy another one.
I had a horse who became reluctant to walk downhill, she was found to have coffin joint arthritis and side bone. My other horse was reluctant to go down hill when her saddle became too tight. As others have said get the vet to check, it could be almost anything!
We have a lovely Flexiride surface on top of sand. Used once or twice a week by two horses. Tried to level it with a pallet today but this just dragged the flexiride around and made big lumps of it. What sort of leveller would be suitable?
Thank you for your help :)
Leave them on and don't wash them in winter. Had my hairy cob for 6 years and no mud fever. Even in deep thick mud the feathers next to her skin are dry, I find they are protecting the skin.
