    Altior

Hmmm not sure its so straightforward just to look at the stats..............Desert Orchid for example nowhere near his top mark going left handed........... hence proximity Yahoo in Gold Cup. Too many variables for stats alone. Also the modern Chaser is a different stamp to the old-fashioned...

    The King George

Clan des Obeaux was third in the Betfair. Was at Haydock that day. He's an impressive horse. Got a bit overlooked as all focus on Native River/Might Bite/ showdown didn't happen. Bristol de Mai is talented but a bit of a Haydock specialist. Good to see Thistlecrack go well at Kempton! Might...

    Haydock's Fences

Just seen this post! We were at Haydock for the Betfair. Nicky Henderson was clearly concerned, went out on course to inspec prior racing. They were solid fences all right. Good win for Bristol de Mai he loves Haydock got a great reception on his return

    Altior

I like Altior. A lot. Impossible to compare to past generations but how would he fare upsides with Viking Flagship, Moscow Flyer? Anyway lets just enjoy him. As for Desert Orchid v Kauto now there's a conundrum. I just wonder Desert Orchid could take lengths off his opponents by those...

Arkle - The Legend Lives On

Arkle was buried after his death and given a proper grave with headstone. Unfortunately some years later his remains were exhumed and the bones cleaned and the skeleton put on display. All a bit grim really and not sure why his grave was disturbed

HELP! Can you please help me remember this childhood pony story!

Pony in the Family was part of a set of 3 - Pony in the Family Colt in the Family and Showjumper in the Family.. They were actually written to help people learn to take care of a pony but by writing it into a story so you have a character in the book who is the "expert" imparting their...

WOW Saddle on eBay not as described

The seller by the way has 100% positive feedback. In any event if they are selling for personal reasons they may feel quite emotionally sensitive as it is so I don't think this is helping the situation really. I would back off I think.

    Loan update

Glad you got your pony back. Wouldn't shock me if they just turned up to "see" the pony though sound very entitled! If they had been a bit better behaved you might have been more accommodating about this. You owe them nothing
