Ok, pig ugly was an unfortunate phrase, I was just wanting to get across that I didn't particulary like his look. He is a diamond in every other way though.

I am actually 41 and not a teenager looking for something to match my nail varnish. Just wondered politely if anyone else has ever had a dilemma where they do not appreciate the looks of a horse even though it fulfills your expectations in other ways.

I think it is important to feel proud of the way your horse looks as well as it's capabilities and I'm feeling bad for feeling this way about a horse.
