Has anyone else noticed that the Feedmark BestFlex HA supplement is much 'wetter' than it used to be, or am I imagining it? I'm sure a few years ago the volume that I was buying was almost double what it is now, but the weight was the same. I'm sure the consistency used to be much drier, but now...
Mine seems to love it, so I don't think I'll have trouble with her eating it :D She used to have boswellia, but I don't think it was making any difference. We avoid alfalfa - and carrots as well, but I keep finding out that loads of people at the yard give her carrots  After I go to the...
Hi everyone!
I think my mare may have CPL and I've heard that cleaver and marigold is good to feed. She'd been having the Hilton Herbs version for a couple of years now, but it now seems to be at least twice the price of some others. Just wondering if anyone had tried other brands and if...
Hey! So, I've been using wood pellet bedding for years now and absolutely love it- it's quick and easy, actually worked out pretty cost effective, and I didn't have to worry about mites for my hairy horse.
With the crazy increase in wood pellet prices this year, I've been looking for an...
I didn't think it looked any different from her usual trims, but wasn't really sure if something could have been nicked that would have made it sore.
I'm just not sure how long to keep her in and if it's ok to take her for walks. She loved being in the school for just a couple of mins...
Thank you for your reply. He just did his normal trim- it was just more like a summer trim than a winter one as her growth usually slows down in the winter, but hadn't much this time.
She does have boots, she doesn't often wear them, but I put them on last night to take her out to let her roll...
Hey! So, looking for advice please?
My mare was trimmed by our trimmer who has been trimming her for years at the weekend and straight afterwards, looked a bit footy on her RF. The trimmer looked at her and said don't worry as he has taken a fair bit off. I asked if it was probably laminitis...
Oh bless her! That's my other option.. retire her, and she may or may not come sound, but they said with work would probably go lame again. They said they would removeit with surgery, so I assume it would become a weakness.. but I'm not sure what it's job is..
Hiya, thanks for your reply. I'm sure mine is loving thinking that she's retired, but she loves hacking, so even if I could get her back out for little hacks.. Did she reinjure with the same injury?
Hiya, I know this is an old post, but just wondering how it all turned out in the end? My vet wants to do surgery on my mares manica flexoria, and I'm terrified, mostly of the GA, but hadn't got as far as thinking about risk of infection yet..
