She has regargable battery lights which are quite good and give adequate lighting. The field is about 5 acres and very good grazing. No riding school, stabling included in price...

    Can anyone help??.........Companion horse/pony

my mum's horse died on fri night/sat morning, which has left my horse out in the field on his own. He seems ok but is neighing and looking down the road as if he's waiting for her to return from a hack (bless him). He was in the field when she died suddenly (vet says most likely a heart attack)...

    In a predicament ....

i would prob sell and get one for yourself. You want to ride, your son does not, yet you are paying for him to be ridden by someone else. Get a horse for you and enjoy him! Could you maybe sell tommy through word of mouth so you know where he is?

ok, so i know this has prob been discussed a million and one times but i would like everyone's opinion on what you think about the tree/treeless debate. I have tried both and find both quite comfortable, although i did find that the treeless allowed me to fall forwards more easily when my horse...

    Doggy injured- advice/opinions

dogs quite regularly catch their dew claws, i agree with the others, just bathe it with salt water (teaspoon salt in half pint water) then rinse with plain water as the salt can irritate the skin.

i have always had my horse on straw, however, i am moving to a new yard and wondering whether to put him on shavings as i know it is quicker to muck/skip out on shavings than straw. What is the price difference between shavings and straw (i know this can vary between areas - i am moving to...
