I use the smallest size Aquacrop for growing barley grass for my guinea pigs. I have found it a great addition. Drawback was finding a place to plug into the mains electric and getting mains water to it, as I didn't want it in the house, rigged it up in my spare shed. Wouldn't be with out it...
Totally agree about using flubenvet pellets. Used to mess about with other wormer medications but have found by far the easiest and most effective were these pellets.
I have kept pigs for over 40 years and agree, back in the day, 6 weeks was the norm, but it has ben known for a 4 week old to reproduce, and so now 4 weeks , five at most, is the done thing.
At a pinch could leave another week if he isn't "rumbling" at the girls but your decision.

I keep 30 + guinea pigs and are housed in a purpose built shed, but do quite often have some indoors for whatever reason, and they all enjoy a good life in each environment. Happy to home any of my young stock as house pigs, as they tend to get a better quality of life...

Hence the saying "breed like rabbits"
Leave mum well alone to look after babies, they are totally dependant on mum, being blind, deaf, bald, and will emerge from nest at about 10 days.

Always used Pet Plan, good value, and the cover is "for life".
My dog now nearly 14 and the premiums are very much cheaper for this age of dog than any where else.
Paid any claims without a hitch too.
