Thanks everyone for you advice. Rode with no noseband today. ALOT better...much more relaxed. still rubbed a little after riding but no where near as much and much less head throwing...possibly more of a habit head throw!

Hello, I am also looking for DIY / Assisted DIY livery around kettering/rothwell/rushton/desborough way. Needs to have a floodlit school and friendly people. Some form of turn out all year round too. Also not too expensive! Any advice as I'm new to the area.
