I am starting to thing that I need to take a writing course because people are not understanding what I write. I bought him when he was seven. He did not race until he was seven. His racing career was very brief. He spent several years after his racing career at a rehoming centre and I bought...
It was a very frustrating day. Got this local horse vet out to start the process of rehabilitation and he tries to tell me that there wasn't anything wrong. What a waste of time and money.
Feedback on sacroiliac issues in horses please. Made a beginner mistake and posted about this in The Tack Room forum first. My horse has a sacroiliac issue. A local non-specialist vet tried to tell me that there was nothing wrong, so it cannot be a catastrophic problem. The specialist who saw...

Thank you for the feedback. It's keenly appreciated. Really glad that you were able to get your pony happily back into work. I am aiming for him to carry a total weight of 15% (though not including his bridle).

Which percentage of his weight would be a lightweight rider including the saddle please? Am currently aiming for 15% but could go down to as low as 10% if that's nescessary. He weighs about 600kg
