I agree too!. If you have particular issues to resolve find a sympathetic instructor and have some 1-2-1 lessons to start with. I've had group lessons where I felt like I was making up the numbers, never again!

Sounds awful and frightening. I'd not hack until you feel confident with your new horse in a school first and progress from there. I find someone walking with you helps enormously with nervous or young horses to start with. Good luck.

I've got a Spiritland gelding. He's out of a mare by Kremlin. Beautiful horse, with a lovely temperament. Moves well and jumps too! I've high hopes for him. He's rising 7. he's 17 hh + so I've taken it slowly. The tb side has come through strong. People often think he's full tb. I can't seem...

Thats interesting. I have a gelding who's grandsire is Kremlin. He was definitely bred to event, but moves really nicely too and I'm going to try BD as well as BE!

I bought a Stormhill stud gelding a couple of years ago. I believe he was one of the last ones Stormhill bred before the stud closed, he was sold with his dam in foal to his full brother. I'd love to get in touch with the breeder and find out more. Anyone still in touch with Anne?
