It is just too bizarre. Tried to push for a blood test when my parent's took her last week but the vet said it cost quite a bit so wanted us to continue with the metacam.
That's now finished but she still cannot open her jaw properly and struggles picking up her toys.
She will eat so no issues...
I wasn't there as was at work so my parents took her. She hates the vets but he fully opened her mouth (she wimpered when I did it!), she did not react. He took her temperature, checked all other vitals and no indication of anything.
Suggested possibly laryngitis so giving her metacam and...
Hi, thanks. I don't think she's eaten anything but she loves her sticks so I was concerned a splinter was lodged but vet found nothing.
She's brighter tonight and managed her dental chew if a bit steadier than normal!
She's had some weird itching issue and I do wonder of it's all connected and...
Aww, really sorry to hear about your dog :(
My parents took her to the vet today as last night she couldn't even eat her dental chew (she loves them!).
Her appetite is fine though just opening her mouth was an issue.
The vet's checked her all over and can't see she is in pain or anything so...
Hi, my dog seems to be suffering symptoms this evening which look to tie in with this condition and I am rather worried. She was diagnosed with immune-mediated polyarthritis a few years ago so, became of this it makes me concerned she's got another immune issue.
Did your dog get treated and how...
First, check the saddle fit. If this is too tight it may be pinching and causing pain when your horse tries to move forwards. It could be something as simple as that.
I have been through years of trying to get a saddle to fit myself horse and, if it's too tight in front he responds by going up...
Mine has done this for a few years but is much better now. I realised fairly early that he does it when he gets worried/stressed. I don't know whether it's trying to get reassurance or not? Do youngsters do this with their dams?
I think you do just have to be very firm yes as they need to know...
Did anyone actually manage to watch it? So peed off with the bbc coverage so far. Nothing seems to be on the channels they say which is no good if you're at work and have set it to record in the hope you can watch when you get home .........
Seriously annoyed tonight
I am waiting for it to appear on the red button catch up. Other than that it'll be iplayer I guess but that probably won't be until tomorrow?
It's just ridiculous. How do they expect people to be able to follow it and get involved when they can't even sort out what channels to show events on...

I am sooo peed off as have Virgin and there are about 15 Olympic channels and today despite me setting it to record the xc I have hours of rowing!
Why can't they just get it right? I can't set it to record every channel to make sure I get it?!
Really annoyed!
Having been through what I have with mine I would wait until the horse is at least 4 if not older to back. I messed up and have paid for it with mine, not just financially but mentally. He is now 7 and still we are making baby steps. I sent him away last year to be re-started as I knew I...
Saddles - the bane of my life!! I am considering having a trial on the total contact saddle as fed up of worrying about how my horse is going to react and why he's reacting so violently to a saddle!!
Right. I have not read all the replies but, I am going to be brutal. F@*k 'em! People like this are not worth you worrying about. You were happy before she arrived on your yard so just continue being happy. What's she does is not of your concer.. What she may or may not accuse you're of is...
