Farrier 8 times a year = £480
Hay 400 bales a year = £2000
Straw 50 large bales a year = £750
Wormers = £130
Insurance = £1116 (inc trailer)
Livery (rent small yard then 2 surrounding fields = £3600
Feed = £500...
Not a lot!! My 12.2 welsh who ISNT a good doer and is already having hard feed piled into her has abot 3/4 slices of hay a night plus a large feed. I keep all mine on straw beds so they can pick if they finish their hay. I did the same with my fatty shetland. He used to have 1 slice of hay...
