    Just out of interest how long would you suggest turning away a recently backed Welsh D, rising 4yrs. I was thinking until next March. Is that too long or not enough?

    Yesterday I had a 3.5yr old Welsh D gelding vetted. Been backed for past 9 weeks with my intention of turning away until next spring.
