My 23yo Sports horse very probably has arthritic hocks. The Vet is coming tomorrow to discuss the diagnosis and treatment options. The left hock is chronic and the right is acute. He is not lame, he tears around the field like a hooligan and happily stands on his hinds legs to wave at me and...
Later than late but just doing a search on my old boy's breeding and this thread came up. His sire is Phillip Pembroke (Sire Louella Eisenfarn, Dam Willow Sharn VII) and his Dam is Bella (no further info) so I wonder if anyone knows him? Cornbrodolly perhaps? He's called Mista Boo, he's 22y.o...
I googled repeatedly before posting here and couldn't find a usable copy. Never mind. I'm sure I'll enjoy it - we will definitely not win but I'm just going for the fun of getting out :-)

One of the (many) reasons I'm going far a waxed surface is to avoid the need for irrigation and the CushionTrak has a higher wax content than the SoundTrak so it should be ok on that score. Interested to hear though that it stuck to everything!
Hi TheMule
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Which Martin Collins surface did you have? How recently did you have the problems? I have to say that I've heard similar stories about several equestrian surface providers - unless you're a big centre they don't seem to be that bothered. :-/
