I have my AI, II, BHS stages 1,2,3 and 4, horse masters, all pony club stages, all stable management stages, all riding club stages and ride and road safety. We were the guinea pigs for the tests so we did them all i also taught at the pony club, riding schools and freelancing. I was thinking...
none of my horses would touch the rockies ones... they just sat there and did nothing until i decided to chuck it :o bought a dengie stable lick for them and it lasted about 2 and a half weeks with 2 of them they liked that so i got them ones for their stables too :) the dengie field lick (round...
nice and warm but went through 2 pairs in 4 months - they kept leaking through the right heel... gave up in the end and they have sat in the tack room since - wouldnt waste my money on them if i were you
i bought one then made one myself using it as a template then took the original back :o its still going 9 years on :) ended up making 3 of them as it cant adjust from 18hh to 13hh very well so i made a little one and a big one and one for a friend :)
i wish! one of them would take the first opportunity to roll in a bog and the other would stand at the gate shivering making me feel guilty :o im hoping they will be out of rugs soon though as i am fed up with changing them constantly!
the mole drains are fine as long as you keep them clear. as soon as they get blocked with mud they dont work... the ones at our last yard didnt work out of lazyness because the outles became blocked :o
i have managed to keep the mane on my PRE this winter but not on my irish beast. they are both in fixed neck medium weights :)
i have found that spraying my pre's mane with mane and tail conditioner daily... i did try plaiting but gave up with that as he was rubbing his neck with them in...
that wont cost me an absolute fortune!?
im getting ready for the summer... im a little early but i would rather have it here before i need it :o
i want a detachable neck so it doesnt rub his mane out (hes a PRE) so wouldnt look good with a short mane
if i cant find one i will just...
i dont like wintecs or cair... cair is horrible i have a true hatred for it and i think wintecs feel, look and depending on the saddle even ride cheap...
thorowgood saddles are okay, used to have one and now have what is known as the leather version (kent and masters) and its a nice saddle...
urggg i hate my flair saddle (black country eden dressage) so i have sent it off to the saddlers to be converted back to flocking. its costing me £200 to do this but at least i wont have to deal with its wallowing any more! talk about sea sickness! mine does deflate at the front slightly which...
ford focus zetech 1.9ltr diesel - 62mpg (at the moment depends on journeys though) - good car fits a lot of crap in it, doesnt cost much to fix although it goes wrong rather a lot although it has got 200,000 miles on the clock. good mpg, speedy, fits lots of hay and saddles in and doesnt mind...
i dont think anyone would want to ride either of mine if they wished to live... and thats not because of me but because one is a complete nut job and has so many buttons that if you press too many he has a melt down, rears and runs then takes of and its bit like riding a fast jelly as you just...
130 pcm - all day turnout (never 24/7 though) large airy stables and use of a floodlit 25x45 out door arena, good hacking and she does all the ordering of bedding and hay and stuff :) oh and you can pick and choose the paddocks as you like so can move about if your field is getting muddy or not...
