Can anyone advise me as to how I would go about finding my horse's dressage record? He was recently imported from Germany and I know he did compete over there. However whenever I try to find anything, it comes up in German and quickly gets confusing.
Can anyone help?
I have two who both live out 24/7. One is two and a half, and the day I bought her was the day she started living out 24/7; she hasn't been in since. Her and my other youngster, a 6 month old PRE, both live out on 40 acres in a very happy mixed herd. Better for them and better for me.
I get asked this question all the time, albeit mainly by non horsey family and friends. "You don't need more than one", "you must be mad", "you should sell one".
Realistically I don't NEED two - but by that train of thought I don't actually need one - but I have two for various reasons.

I am leaving my youngster until later on in the time frame too with regards to her second course of flu (she will be getting combined flu and tet). She was under the weather after her first jab so I have been including a supplement in her feed for her immune system, so I'm giving her as much...
Someone I knew tried to flog her 36yo, extremely arthritic, 16hh warmblood x dales gelding last year. Bless him, he was the first horse my now two year old went out with when she was just a few months old.
She was also selling her 12yo cob at the time, insisted they went together, and that...

I saw it in H&H when I was reading it yesterday. Made me wonder whether, in theory if I wanted to, my filly would be able to be registered. She's greying, and will eventually be quite light grey, BUT is in fact bay dun (colour DNA tested). She just has a grey gene which overrides the dun. Not to...
I'd just like to wish you luck, whichever path you choose. I love PREs and recently bought a PRE foal, who I imagine will be a lot more challenging than my cob x!
Thanks for the input :D
I wrote that post then soon after actually thought, is there such a thing as a half appaloosa that's coloured? Is it possible? I'm not really into genetics and breed traits so don't know! She's definitely half cob though
But always interesting to find someone else who...
