My horse doesnt have a problem with well behaved dogs just like i dont have a problem with well behaved dogs however i do have a problem with dogs trying to attack me or being aggresive

Sorry ill explain more! i was having a horse vetted but it turned out it was the vet they already used (long story) however it was about half way though so iv found out what i need to know! So i can either buy the horse without getting another vetting...
Have any of you who have not had your horse vetted had problems later on with claiming for anything? Or have you ever been asked for a copy of a vetting certificate when you tried to claim?

Most insurers only really cover on an annual basis and cover for just a week will be fairly costly.
Can't the owners of the horse just extend their policy to cover the time you have the horse on trial? That is the easiest thing to do and should not cost.

Im going to be having a horse on trial for a week but need to get her insured as i dont fancy a hefty vets bill if anything was to happen! Do insurance companies do insurance for such a small time or would i take out a yr and then cancel if i didnt keep a horse will there be a fee if i did...
I will have to pay the deposit by bank transfer due to the distance the horse is away from me but the rest I thought cash would be prefered, i just dont like the idea of carrying that much around when i go to get it from the bank!
