Hiya, I may have a 17" kent & masters dressage saddle for sale next week. Currently in orange gullet, but can be sold with my spare red one too £450.
Message me end of next week if you are still looking.
Hiya, Ive been riding in one for years now, and they do take a bit of getting used to!
I found I couldn't keep such a correct position. My legs tend to be further forward and, as you say, slightly slouchy, but not tooooo bad!
The main thing it took me a while to get used to was feeling like I...
Thank you for the replies, much appreciated.
I asked my vet when my cat came home which diet to put him on, and they reccommended the Royal canin for general urinary health, as he had minimal crystals, but cyctitis too and they said this food was more 'broad spectrum'
I will definately try the...
Hi
Apologies if this is the wrong thread to use, but there's not one for cats, and as most people read this one.... (also my usual name is apes_mum but i've a problem with my account so am using another one)
I have a 9mth old cat who has serious problems with his bladder. I first noticed he...
no! definately not rude. if your horse had trodden on her or injured her in any way, it would be a different story. If your horse needed a lead past, it would have been best for you to get off and do it your self. Well done you for dealing with it so well.

Hiya,
my old horse showed similar symptoms. Would walk into gates when I was trying to close them, instead of turning around ( she was always great at gates ) going down the pecking order in the field. She was always 'top dog' but started getting picked on. Just looking vague and not...
Hiya,
we've had dog problems too, altough of a different nature. If you look at the dangerous dogs act legislation, it seems to imply that if a dog is out of control, or causes fear of attack, if behind a fence or not, there is a case to answer. There is an instance of a farmer who's dogs...
Thanks for the replies!
I had a look on the internet but couldn't really find much to help.
Unfortunately the path is in such a position that it would be impossible to fence off. We have been very good with our fencing, supplying proper gateways for them to use, and even coloured them so they...
Hi Guys,
We have a public footpath running through the fields at our livery yard. We have the usual problems with walkers not sticking to the path and roming over the private land, not keeping their dogs on leads etc.
But this afternoon I went to get my horse in, and there were two large groups...
Hiya,
We have the 'elderly driver' thing round our way too. It's amazing how it always seems to be an older driver who just doesn't seem to see us, whereas young 'lads' who you would expect to be loonies slow right down and pass carefully! Maybe it's because their insurance is so high they are...
Hiya, You might be onto something with the speedibeet. My horse goes absolutely barmy on this. Infact she does on any feed which has a hint of molasses / sugar !! It's only recentely I've been able to give her any hard feed (she's 11 now!) and thats ultimate balancer and unmolassed chaff...
Erm, a true vegeterian doesn't eat fish either!! I certainly don't. Basically, if it's got a face, I don't eat it !!
I would not however impose that on my dogs, who are fed a 'normal' doggie diet (albeit dried food, as I hate touching tinned!) nor have I imposed my veiws on my children...
