There will be a variety of fences (approx. 40) ranging from 2'3" to 3'3" and all of them are optional!
Definitely do that LiffWee93 - they'll have a meet at Yattendon so you get a second chance to have a go at the new jumps then :-)
Enjoy your dressage...
The weather forecast is brilliant and the recent rain has ensured that the going is perfect.

With Autumn Hunting just around the corner there can be no better way to get your horse ready than a blast around the Yattendon Ride this Sunday. The weather forecast is brilliant and the recent rain has ensured that the going is perfect.
To whet your appetite a bit more the Berks & Bucks...
Last year was the first time that the Yattendon Ride was held. The ride is on a private estate that ha previously been inaccessible to riders which is why only temporary fences were available. Following the tremendous success of the ride the Estate have agreed to another ride this year and the...
Don't forget the Yattendon Fun Ride next Sunday 1st September - 10 mile ride across a beautiful private estate.
Following the success of our inaugural ride last year we've been really busy refining the route and building lots of permanent timber fences, including a Christmas Tree fence...
You know what, those car things are bl**dy dangerous....let's ban them and save countless lives.
As for hi-viz - if you can't see me on a 17hh grey then you need your eyes testing.
Quick update - took him autumn hunting today. Fairly low-key event, fairly wooded country so lots of standing around and no opportunity for anything quicker than trot.
He behaved impeccably, leg fine and no sign of any heat. A good start and v excited about the hunting to come!
Thanks all! That's kind of what I was thinking but have in the back of my mind that he's not my horse and I want him to last all season.
There's no way of knowing whether the leg is up to the job until we get out there and do it. Meanwhile, I'm taking my time over getting him fit - he's had...

I wouldn't normally, however, my horse is out of action and I have been extremely fortunate in being able to loan a horse to hunt who is returning to work after a year off following a tendon injury.
So, do the pros of offering his legs a bit of support outweigh...
....and yes, the last ride was excellent. Loads of good, solid hunting fences of varying heights. I heard they had to shorten the route because of the heat (it was about 35 degrees) which meant a bit of roadwork but it was just a tiny part of the whole ride. And the liquid pit-stop was a...
I'm definitely going - a chance to ride across uncharted territory with brand new fences. Oh yes please!!!
This lot are pretty good at organising rides like this too - the Brockhurst ride back in May was excellent and the liquid pit-stop halfway round was inspired. Can't wait!!!
Excellent!! We have bought in the most amazing rosettes too - proper red, white & blue Team GB/Jubilee style. A fabulous souvenir for what will be a fantastic ride!
Have you spotted the ride at Yattendon in a few weeks time - it's in the heart of West Berks so a mere stone's throw from you.
There are plenty of people entered on their own so you will easily find someone to ride with or, if you prefer, we can find someone for you.
Full details of the...
