But will you need to continue looking for a loan home and therefore need to advertise? Have you visited the yard your boy will be going to? Would the Yard Manager/Owner not be a reference for her or her vet? Just thinking if you make an excuse it could be awkward if you continue advertising him?

Would they have paid the vet direct?

Is it just me or has anyone else thought the Futurities would be an ideal time for stud books to be present to grade mares?! I understand that the Warmblood Society use foreign judges so wouldnt be suitable for them. However, surely the SHGB or Breeders Elite would be able to attend as well...

I had a quote for vetting for a grading so all joints xrayed and that was approx £450! Not sure if it would be different for a vetting. Probably not much if you want full xrays and a vetting!!

I had one who needed Regumate, I experimented and managed her on 5mls per day. I also got a prescription from the vet and bought Pig regumate. Same stuff and much cheaper!

Ive seen the stallion at shows a few times and a few youngsters and havent seen any obvious issues with front limbs that I can remember! The youngster in thread could have inherited from the damline just as easily.
