When i previously used them (electric rapide) they were brilliant, went on forever, never heated up. I have had a long break and cannot remember the setting ! Thought it was Fully tighten then back 3 turns , any one know ? Otherwse loved 'em, old but sturdy and reliable :)

Hey, I know yours is an old question but did you make any headway with the tension thing ? I am also in the same boat . . .long time since last clipped, perfect clippers but not a clue in my memory how to tension them . . help !? PLEASE ? :(
