    Livery Yards near Exmouth

Hi this is OP logged in under wrong name originally. MiJods I won't be around until June at the earliest so could you possibly keep me in mind if you do get any spaces. Both of us are very civilised :)

    Anyone with a VSD saddle?

If you're jumping a VSD is no good. Maybe look for a working hunter saddle? I had a farrington one that was very straight cut.

    Girth strap replacement

Most of them you can change yourself if you can get replacement straps, or at the least a saddler could do it in the shop. I watched them replace mine (I have the Bates leather straps on my Wintec - they are much nicer to use) and she did it in 10 mins. No tools involved. If it's one strap on...

    Saddles for Cobs

I have a Wintec Wide for mine and it fits great. It has a flatter tree which suits him as even the T4 Cob was too curvy for him.

    CAIR system saddles

I have had two Cair saddles now, and the newer ones are definitely softer, and there is some adjustment with the inserts which wasn't possible on the older ones. I was convinced I wanted a flocked one this time, but am a lot happier with the softness of this one (1st was a VSD c2010 and the 2nd...

I'm gutted-I feel like a failure and so disappointed!

I might as well have written your post, I've been there. I eventually put mine on loan, but that fell through when the loaner became pregnant. Although she'd had a lot of fun with him I still had no desire to ride at all. I ended up doing a part ex for something I trust, although he is young...

Honest opinions wanted on how this horse looks please?

I didn't watch the whole thing, but the initial part where they are walking her away from the camera she looks lame on the left hind to me.

Would you buy a 23yr old horse???

Depends totally on the horse. My old guy was still riding at 32.. once he got to 30 I didn't ride him in the winter, but that was more about me than him, he was still perfectly capable of a good run out! I bought him at 19 because I wanted a schoolmaster that knew all the moves dressage wise. He...

Not coping and I just don't know what to do

You're definitely not the only one, I lost my little guy of 23 years 2 years ago and I cried and cried and cried... it does get easier, and you're not alone xx I didn't call them in the end, but I did look up these guys http://www.bluecross.org.uk/2083/pet-bereavement-support-service.html

Saddle for a super fat, flat backed, table top coblet?

I have just had a Wintec wide fitted to mine as the T4 cob that came with him didn't fit very well at the front. Fitter said the wide has a flatter tree than the T4 cob, despite them both being advertised for cobs. Mine is 13.3hh and as flat as pancake lol.

Yep that will be the one http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/news/11028887.Orpington_iPad_scammer_Poppy_Eastwood_receives_community_sentence/ She appears to still be at it and has several aliases...

    Buying second hand saddles?

Just don't buy from anyone asking you to bank transfer or paypal using the gift option, there is a very notorious scammer around who uses various girl's names.....

Dangerous or Just Scared? Not Convinced I Can Tell...

Somewhere with grass livery may be able to provide your mare herd. Then she gets to learn the routine, and that not all humans are bad, by proxy from the established mares. Then get a professional in to restart her as if she was a totally unhandled baby. Sounds like someone has given her a real...
