I have a coloured mare and there is often palaminos in the class, they are classed as a coloured horse although some show split up the coloured into skewbalds and piebalds and then another class for palaminos, duns etc

I dont own the mare so she is gonna have to be weaned at a suitable age, they want to get the mare back into work very soon, so have to find the least stressful method of weaning ( if thats poss) !!!

Really sorry, its a tough decision to make. I dont think i could be there if he is being shot, you want to remember him as he was and wouldnt like that vision being the last thing you remember about him, can someone else who knows him well be with him?

Hi, Thanx for your reply. The Mare is not mine I just own baby. The mare is being fed baileys stud balancer and so is the foal. Foal seems quite independant and is doing well. Main concern is mum.

Hi, I would just like to know what age is your foal? Just wondering as I have a 4 month old and the mare is starting to lose condition, is it too soon?

My horse also has a couple of these lumps under the saddle, slightly larger than pea size and they seem to come and go at different times throughout the year, never seem to cause her any problems, vet says that they shouldnt cause her any probs, if they did they could be removed but had no probs...

I wouldnt worry, i swear that my horse burps!!! there isnt anything wrong with her and she only does it occasionally!

My horse has had 3 injections into her fetlock joint, these injections were written on my vet bill as Hyalovet-20, that was about a year and a half ago now and she has been sound ( touch wood!) eversince. Am pleased she had these injections as it would have meant surgery. She was 6 years old then!!
