Yes he is - doesn’t show at all in ridden work. Yes finally got to bottom of it he has ulcers/ kissing spine which have caused all the behavioural issues. Relieved to have an answer!

My horse was sadly diagnosed last week with kissing spine - five touching processes that are reforming. Thanks, after his scope we found he had minor ulcers in the lower part of his tummy, but nothing major, though he is on ulcer treatment to clear them up. I have tried to get him to take a vit e supplement but he just won't eat it! Can I ask which one you use? Like yours he can get rather...

Thanks all, i've had vet and checked eyes, bloods etc and they doubt it's shiver related as his physical symptoms are very mild. Booked in to be scoped for ulcers next week

Hi all, So i've purchased the vit e supplement as discussed but I cant for love nor money get the great big beast to eat it!! I've tried three different chaffs, fast fibre, mint, garlic etc and he wont touch it. He cant have anything sugary to disguise it as he is extremely sugar intolerant...

Thanks for your replies! So i’ve Worked out he is fine until lunchtime..something happens after that. I don’t know can if he’s just finding the yard too busy. He’s out all night from 4.30pm ish and in around 8. No major changes or swifts or anything. Think I will have to press on...

Sorry to bother you again but...say if I try to reduce it...how will I know exactly how much he needs unless I keep getting bloods retested? Will it have a negative affect if I give him too much? Thanks!

This is weird...I have no idea what bed bugs are like but after i'd mucked out with my hands yday i went home very itchy. I had assumed that i had got irritated by something when sorting the muck heap but could it be this??!!
