Thanks that's a good idea. I could also provide the wood as I have a supply of softwood. Machine is compact and light enough to go on a trailer and be towed to the locations. Moving the dumpy bags of shavings is my next issue

Thanks, the idea has come from the Tonka machine, it looks like a good machine. I would want to see samples too, it appears it will take any softwood.

Would people be interested if someone was to offer a shaving producing service, turning up to your yard, supplying the wood and making shavings? Either putting them into bulk bags or straight onto a dry floor? Thoughts or things you'd want to have to make this work much appreciated

These work well until you develop a low spot then this method gradually makes it worse

Yes they can ethically refuse to treat it, but as stated above they can offer to euthanase it if the owner cannot afford to treat their animal

If they can't treat it, they do have an obligation to put it down so it's not suffering
