I got the 40g elite in their sale the other week.
Im.sure its 1600d outer and 40g lining. Its actuallu a really impressive rug for £20- the only difference i can tell between this and my premier equine is the cut, its shorter at the front but i actually prefer it!
I've had mine off of hers for a few months and this thread reminded me to reorder. The step free is a life saver for competitions/travelling, i notice a huge difference if i go to load her without a shot of it!
I'm on my second full clip..
First one was done around 3 weeks ago as she was getting too sweaty each time i rode and i had HT coming up.
Pretty much completely grew back within the three weeks so she was fully clipped again on sat as we have a ODE coming up this Sunday.
She is...
Have you thought about Donegal? I lived there for year and loved it. I was inbetween Derry and Letterkenny and it had quite good variety, lots of towns close by, friendly and was fairly horsey?!
I started my mare on it.
I too am on the facebook page but like you don't know where to start with all the information on there.
I use micronised linseed from charnwood milling (i buy a big bag, lasts ages and good for condition too)
Regular pepper which i grind in and i buy the bags...
Woohoo! Well done, im sure i saw you in the warmup.
I was clear too- my nappy monster was cool as a cucumber so happy, we came 9th (shouldn't have had that wee walk in the woods) I took a picture of the results if your wanting your times etc as they havent posted them online.
I need to...
Its transformed my mare-
She was very spooky- put her on a calming/digestive suppliment and she is so much easier and far happier in general.
I also use the step free when i need to take the edge off, the difference when i use it is amazing.
My farrier also commented on her hoof wall...
My mare is filthy too.
I've got her on straw but have wood pellets under the areas she wee's. Seems to be working so far and I don't turn up to find a stream leaving my stable and a puddle at the door (stables are on a slight slant)
:)
Ooooh if I must :p
watching the tv with her pheasant
