Hey April :)
Sorry to hear about mare - the eruption sounds horrific.
I would 100% try manuka honey - it really is amazing. Slather the stuff on everyday and it will work wonders. The same thing happened to my friends horse, and it helped no end.
Also lots of walking - whether in hand...
Your knee sounds horrible - you poor soul Hopefully this new operation with really help.
Re your horses. I can take one of your hands ... my stables are seriously lacking ponies at the moment!
He sounds like an arse TBH, and I comend you for continuing with him, I wouldn't! I had one like that, I had him for about a month. He was the superstar horse when away from home - we did a couple of hunter trials which he was in the placings for, and had a group SJ lesson, which he was perfect...
ALOT!
Infact all Sullivan's IRAP treatment was covered by insurance, and we only paid for the excess.
I can't remember exactly the cost of his treatment, but it was over 5k, from the initial consultations, treatments, IRAP, follow ups etc.
No, it doesn't hurt. It pulls a bit - but doesn't hurt. Take an apple with you - a nice green, crunchy one, which has been in the fridge, you never experience anything quite so satisfying again!
1) has lots of fiddly amounts, like 300g and 80g, wouldn't be for me.

I've had a nappy rearer, who would do these wierd camel hop's on her back legs. Pain in the ar5e.
I had a rearer who went over...
There has been a fireworks/bonfire party at the yard I used to keep my horses at. We checked on the horses part way through the night and they didn't seem phased in the slightest. Most were just dozzing away in fact.
We didn't leave any extra lights on, through I think maybe the radio was on...
Hate seeing headcollars dangling on the ground, with the rope still tied up - whilst people are out riding.
People tying horses up round their necks.
Leaving crud around the yard - like shavings from hooves, hoof pickings, buckets and brushes.
Using my stuff and not putting it back, get your...
Does he have any other marks on him?
My old black pony was get random white patches all over her - but mainly her muzzel and around her eyes, especially so in the summer. It was vitiligo, which is basically a lack of skin pigmentation.
I only thought about this after seeing my friend, who has...
