Hello. I've bought a horse, well a pony and need her transporting to my yard. It's only about 40 miles from me but I have no way of getting her here myself. So can anyone recommend a horse transporter in north east england, Cleveland area really. I'd just prefer to use a company someone had...
I have one, yes it's worth the money. It's not a magic piece of rope though, you have to use it properly. It comes with an instructional DVD/video. Definitely helped me loads with my horse. As have Max's books/DVDs.
I highly recommend it!
Good luck.

Hi. Due to no winter grazing my horse goes out in a sand arena for a few hours everyday. He hoovers the floor picking at bits of grass and also drinks from the puddles so he is probably swallowing sand. I was hoping to know what people use, I've found a product from Equine America called Sand...
I've got a budget of 2500 to buy a pony in the new year. I don't really want to spend more than 1300 on the pony in case the first fails the vet. Then I've worked out tack, buckets, rugs etc etc will come to around 700, then there's dentist, back man, vaccinations etc that it might need.
So it's...
Ours are at the back of the stables. They get dirty when not used. Mine rusted over the summer and I can't get some of the rust off but it doesn't come off when he's drinking and I just clean it out every day as bits of feed etc get in it.

To be honest I can't say I've ever seen a horse described as an intermediate ride. It depends on your budget and what you want to do.
Maybe look for one described as a good first horse, then it will probably be quiet to handle etc.
Good luck.

Thanks people. I'm not keen to buy one second hand saddle as I want it to be fitted, the saddlery actually have some second hand ones so I'll ask about it.
Which type of Stubben do you have? There's loads of different designs and it confuses me.
Thanks.

I would just like your thoughts/recommendations on jumping saddles. Has anyone got the Wintec Close Contact or any other synthetic type as I'm on a budget. Although I would really like a Stubben....
Just your thoughts on any jumping saddles.
Thanks.

Thank you. He was making hardly any noise today, watched him eat his feed, no problem. And trotted him about a bit and ran like a loon taking him back to the field to try and get him going, and he made hardly any noise, definitely not struggling to get his breath or anything like that. So I'll...
