I had a senior position with free accommodation, no bills etc and spent a LOT of time socialising too and it was the brilliant, but was never going to be in a position to get a mortgage etc
It is one of the hardest jobs I've ever had in terms of hard graft but by far the most fun... If you find the right yard, you don't mind hard work and can take the ups and downs it can be brilliant! Had to give it up to earn a living though!
I have tried to complete but it will not let me as I did not fill in all five disciplines and levels even though I only compete in one discipline at one level (plus the levels do not really apply to all the disciplines?)
Here is the first plate

I did try to post a picture of the two plates as I am not sure which one is correct, the english one is the one that says 2250 to 3000, but the pic is on my phone and have no idea how to post that to forum! Thanks for you help... looks like a trip to the weigh bridge is in order!
On closer inspection it looks exactly like that one, with the windows, handles, shape of door etc (except door is on other side) I also wonder if the unladen weight might be different as when we got it it had nothing inside and we added the partitions when we had it refurbed.
Thanks for your...
It looks more like this one http://heavycherry.com/machineinfo/thiel/-explorer-2010-trailer-cattle_truck.html
It used to have the lift up flap thing above the ramp but we took that off as it didn't lift high enough to load the horses!
Hi I'm in the process of buying a 4x4 to tow my trailer and wonder if this combination will work. I am looking at a mitsubishi shogun sport, which I know has less capacity than a shogun but wondered if this would still be safe. The trailer I have is a westfalia and it has two plates so a little...
Lynh - what weight rug is the hero one? I've seen them online but they don't say how much fill they have? I know they say medium but that rangersfrom 100 to 250,
mm- I did spot The jomiluti (sp) ones so glad to hear they are good as don't want to fork out unless they're worth it!
My auntie has a pony who hates being wormed with a passion and will throw himself at the wall or door rather than be dosed, which obviously could get dangerous. Someone once suggested blindfolding him, so now i just put a jumper over his eyes and he'll swallow first time with no problem at all...
Thanks for the replies guys, I'm trying to steer away from chaps because I ride and teach and I get a cold backside! Plus I find they always fall down off my waist for some reason. Will have a look at the Zara Phillips ones. Off to look at the rugs, there are so many it's always easier to go...
So having got soaked once this week already, I am online shopping for waterproofs.
First, for me. I am looking for a decent pair of waterproof trousers that will keep me dry all day out in the rain but that will also be suitable for riding. I don't mind spending a bit more for good ones, but...
Hmmm, thanks firewell. Have re-read the ad with my buyers hat on and it does not sound good. Have tweaked it a bit so hopefully the facts sound a bit more positive now!
Thanks :)
I've had a couple of ex-racers, and find that sometimes if they have too much high energy feed like oats or any kind of cube or mix it gives them more energy and so they tend to run around more in the field or 'stress' it off in the stable. I usually try to feed things that will not overexcite...
